( hindsight is )
The Prophecy has loomed over Princess Irene's head for as long as she's been alive. It's not something anyone can deny—she's seen how the world beyond the comforts of her kingdom has been all but lost to the darkness. All she can do is push onwards with her retinue, hoping that she'll have enough strength to fulfill her destiny......Except Cyrus knows she can't. It's actually been her 348th attempt at trying to save the world. Despite keeping track with every repeat, he can't figure out the right path for Irene. But time is running out, and he can't keep mourning the loss of his friends if he wants them to actually succeed.
Hindsight is 20/20 is a (planned) comic following Irene's retinue from the perspective of someone stuck in a time-loop. The key words I associate with Hi2020 are perfectionism, regret, and fate.
( no prey, )
Rhoswen has a reputation of being one of the best privateers in the entire Atlantic. Her wicked ways of magic have made it so hardly anyone can contend with her might. However, her cockiness got the better of her and her latest take-down attempt backfired when her spell was interrupted by one of the crew members. Now captured and having inflicted a curse on her targets, she's left in an interesting position as an outsider. It's clear to her that the group of unruly bastards she's found herself with have issues. The question remains if she wants to exploit them or lend the poor men a hand.
No Prey, No Pay is a (planned) game following the crew of the Taste of Freedom as they struggle with their prisoner and her actions against them. The key words I associate with NP2 are bonds, gossip, and perspectives.
( murder on )
You haven't seen him lately. His absence doesn't spark any deep-seated emotion buried in your chest as you don't care much for him, no. But it's strange. Strange in a way that makes you curious, and that curiosity leads you to scout his usual route. Yet it's devoid of anything familiar, with many of the people milling about being ones you never thought to pay attention to.Nothing stands out as you continue your day, mulling about with your friends, finding a good spot for some grub, and partaking in some routinely people-watching. It's only on the way back home that you spot it. Something shining in the darkness of night, glinting in a pool of liquid too dark to be water. You inch closer to the scene and the sharp scent of iron hits your nostrils. A round pellet reflecting the dull lights above is what catches your attention and you take it, ignoring the clamor of people without a second thought.
Murder on the Wire is a (planned) novel following Mick, a grizzled detective, from an unusual perspective as she solves the mystery that took her family. The key words I associate with MotW are betrayal, desperation, and outsiders.
